3 day Exclusive Kruger National Park Safari 

Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Begin your journey through some of the most picturesque areas of eastern South Africa, heading to a 4-star lodge-style hotel which is nestled in a serene riverine woodland with majestic African trees, offering luxury accommodations near Kruger National Park for couples, families, and groups.

The drive lasts 5 to 6 hours, allowing you to unwind and enjoy the South African landscape. Alternatively, you can inquire about flying.

Upon arrival at your lodge, set off on a 3-hour sunset safari drive in an open vehicle.

Sunset drives start before dusk and conclude after sunset, lasting about three hours. Look for grazers in the cool afternoon and predators as they begin their nightly hunts. Sunset is when nocturnal animals become active, offering a perfect chance to witness the bush's transformation from day to night. Learn about the local flora and fauna from our expert guides and return to camp with a spotlight night drive.

Upon your return, enjoy a lavish fireside feast in the Lapa, featuring a variety of local and international dishes for a relaxed three-course buffet dinner. Options include casserole, potjiekos, curry, roast meat, pescatarian, vegetarian, and children's dishes, along with vegetable sides, sauces, and condiments.

Day 2: Full-day safari game drive

Embark on a guided safari lasting over 10 hours, allowing you to explore deeper into Kruger National Park and increasing your chances of exciting wildlife sightings. While seeing all of the Big 5 in one day is rare, a full-day safari offers your best opportunity. 

Return to your lodge for another fireside feast in the Lapa. You can also explore more of the lodge's amenities:

Day 3: Kruger National Park - Johannesburg

Start the game drive in our tour vehicle early, enjoying coffee on your way out of the park, as you explore every opportunity to view the stunning wildlife scenery. There is a great chance to spot a variety of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, spotted hyenas, elephants, Burchell's zebras, hippopotamuses, warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes, elands, roan antelopes, sable antelopes, greater kudus, and more. (Brunch en route, with restaurant options available.) After a 150 km game drive, return to Johannesburg via Nelspruit (Mbombela).

You will be picked up at any of the following spots for the start of the tour between 6 am and 7 am:

1. O.R.Tambo Airport, 2. Gautrain Centurion Station, 3. Your centrally located hotel, 4. Home pick up

Pick ups and drop offs are at the airport or hotels close to the OR Tambo airport, within a radius of 3 miles.

Clients flying out of OR TAMBO International on last day to please not book flights earlier than 20:00 pm for domestic flights and 21:00 pm for international flights as one cannot always guarantee on-time arrival at OR Tambo International airport.
