Day 1: You begin the journey and drive through some of the most scenic areas of the Eastern part of South Africa. You head for the south of the Kruger National Park through the Malelane gate, and take the best scenic routes, looking for opportunities to see the Big 5 as we head to the Pretoriuskop Rest Camp (or similar, like Berg–en-Dal Rest Camp). These are situated in excellent game viewing areas, with the bush relatively open and the animals plentiful and diverse. Have dinner at the restaurant, or cook your braai (bbq) at a cosy fire. You have the choice to do an optional activity like a 3 hour sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle where the amazing African sunsets can be seen, and return at night while viewing some nocturnal species, or an early morning guided walk.
Accommodation: bungalow - Air-conditioned, Fridge, Sink, Utensils, WC and shower
Day 2: Starting the game drive in our own vehicle after breakfast, you explore every possible opportunity to view the spectacular wildlife scenery. We take the best scenic routes and drive to the north of Kruger Park to get more opportunities to see the Big 5. Chances are excellent to spot a variety of some of the animals: Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild dog, Spotted hyena, Elephant, Burchell's zebra, Hippopotamus, Warthog, Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland, Roan antelope, Sable antelope, Greater kudu, etc. (Lunch en-route, picnic spots and restaurants available) You overnight at the Letaba Camp (or similar, like Satara). Letaba means “river of sand”, and the sandy riverbed is an excellent location for game viewing, particularly elephant, which thrive in the area. Letaba is a green oasis in the surrounding mopane veld, and remains a firm favourite with visitors. At night the stars overlook a symphony of sounds. Owls, nightjars, frogs, fruit bats, crickets and cicadas all vie to be heard, until the lion roars, then all are silent. Have dinner at the restaurant, or cook your braai (bbq) at a cosy fire. You have the choice to do an optional activity like a 3 hour sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle where the amazing African sunsets can be seen, and return at night while viewing some nocturnal species, a night game drive or an early morning guided walk.

Day 3: We leave after breakfast for a game drive in our own vehicle out of the park, while you explore every possible opportunity to view the spectacular wildlife scenery. (Lunch en-route, shops available) Heading to the Blyde Canyon, you to take a boat trip on the Blyde Dam. An interpretation tour will take us to the Kadishi Tufa waterfall and the Three Rondawels. Wildlife will keep you distracted while learning more about the natural history of the Blyde Canyon. The Kadishi Tufa waterfall, at 200 meters (around 660 feet) in height, is the second tallest tufa waterfall on earth. The waterfall’s formation strikingly resembles a face which is crying profusely, and is thus sometimes known as ‘the weeping face of nature’. Completing this we head to Swadini, a Forever Resort, where you stay in a chalet: Lounge, television set, air conditioning, outdoor braai facilities, bath & shower, kitchen with utensils, fridge, stove and a microwave oven.
Day 4: After having breakfast at the restaurant, we head to the 3 Rondavels view point where you have an amazing view over the Blyde River Canyon and from here we visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes.
